My work concerns environment and culture, physics, and the perceptual world. The seemingly inevitable patterns of water and air create an echo in our internal memories, a sense of flow and continuity. I am interested in the juxtaposed imagery of nature and science, the effects of human presence in the environment, and the feeling of unending vastness, generated in the familiar rhythms of the environment and its forces.
