Island Press offers summer internship opportunities for students and artists interested in print collaboration and arts administration. Summer interns for 2025 will work as assistant printers, helping to edition projects by recent Island Press Prensky Visiting Artists including William Villalongo and Shraddha Ramani, Stacy Lynn Waddell, and EJ Hauser. During the final week of June 23-27, interns will support the creation of new work by the 2025 Island Press Artist Research Fellow. Interns also occasionally perform various clerical duties related to the operation of the press. Interns work under the supervision of Tom Reed, master printer, Erin Johnston, post graduate fellow, and Lisa Bulawsky, director.
