ImPRESSions is a national juried exhibit of original printmaking art. All printmaking methods are accepted. The goal of the exhibit is to present original printmaking methods and to educate visitors about printmaking as an art form and the difference between the art form of printmaking versus the reproduction of art called a “print.”
This juried exhibit will present the many different types of printmaking methods, including monotype, etchings, drypoint, lithography, woodcut, linocut, collagraph, and screenprint. Final printed substrate does not have to be paper. Work must have been completed within the last 24 months. Work that has been previously displayed at TCA is not eligible. All work must be the original creation of the artist.
All artwork must arrive ready to hang. If framed, work must be suitably matted, (white, black or neutral colors preferred), simply framed and firmly wired. No sawtooth hangers. TCA reserves the right to disqualify any selected entry upon arrival that does not meet the above requirements or is deemed unsuitable for display.
Payments are made at the end of the CaFE™ entry process either via credit card online or a check mailed to the art center.
Jurying will be done on the basis of digital images in a jpg format only. Up to five (5) works may be entered for consideration.
